Swimming Clubs

Located in the Borough of Newham, East London, Newham & University of East London Swimming Club is a competitive swimming club that’s committed to helping all its members reach their potential in the pool. We provide swimmers with the tools, the training and the experience of competition to take their skills to the next level and perform to the level they are capable of.

With a focus on inclusivity and fun, Hackney Aquatics Club is a swimming club for competitive swimmers aged 6-65 and over. Hackney Aquatics Club isn’t like the traditional swimming club and we offer our members the opportunity to acquire new skills and confidence in the water. Alongside age-group swimming, Masters and para-squads, we also offer open water training and the opportunity for swimmers to train with us when back home from university during the holidays.

A small, but passionate club, Waltham Forest Gators offers a variety of pathways to competitive swimmers. There’s the academy, performance, masters programme and swim fit; Gators is a small club that’s intent on making swimming a sport people enjoy throughout their lives and that they reach their full potential while doing so.

Greenwich Royals Swimming Club is based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, London. The club provides swimming programmes and training for swimmers of all ages and abilities, from beginners to elite swimmers. Greenwich Royals are in the Premier Division of the London Arena League and compete in the County, Regional and Nationals. During the holidays, the regular training is supplemented with Skills Camps.

Tower Hamlets Swimming Club (THSC) is a welcoming and friendly masters swimming club for all competent swimmers aged 18+. They welcome all swimmers from those who swim for fitness, competitive masters’ swimmers and all the way up to World Champions and British and European record holders.

THSC is over 70 years old. Inaugurated in the 1950s and moved to St George’s Swimming Pool when it opened in the 1960s. THSC has taught generations of children to swim and produced three Olympians. THSC has always had a strong masters swimming element, and this is now their main focus. Following the closure of St George’s Swimming Pool, they now train at London Aquatics Centre and Mile End Pool.

Out To Swim is an aquatics club for adults based in London, Brighton and Bristol. Founded in 1992 by a small band of enterprising swimmers from the LGBTQ+ community, we offer a comprehensive programme for those wishing to enjoy swimming in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

LDSC offers training and assistance every two months during National and International Swimming competitions for swimmers classified or eligible for IPC classification. Additionally, the organization serves as a central hub for disability swimming in the London Swimming region, spanning from grassroots levels to para-swimmers.

As the most extensive synchronized swimming club in North East London, there vision is to cultivate healthier and more robust communities through swimming and synchronized swimming.

They are firm believers that swimming and synchronized swimming should be accessible to all individuals in local communities, irrespective of their interests. They take pride in our commitment to accessibility and in providing top-notch coaching and support. Their belief is that by offering such inclusive access to sports, we can unite people and foster the development of stronger, healthier communities.

Otter Water Polo stands out as one of the fastest-growing and improving water polo clubs in the UK. With three men’s teams, two women’s teams, and four girls National age group teams, the club demonstrates a commitment to excellence and diversity within the sport.

Founded in October 2009, the London Fields Triathlon Club has a mission to advance triathlon within the local community by organizing various coached sessions and events. The club is committed to providing affordable and fulfilling experiences in the sport.

The club creates a friendly environment for training and competition, catering to individuals ranging from complete novices to seasoned Ironman veterans. Operated as a not-for-profit, community-focused organization run by volunteers, the belief is that members receive benefits commensurate with their contributions, which often involve significant time, energy, and enthusiasm.
