London Aquatics Centre Grand Opening

Adam Peaty and Maisie Summers-Newton ignite new era for London Aquatics Centre at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The eight-year contract covers the management of the Dame Zaha Hadid-designed facility, boasting two 50-metre pools, a distinctive dive pool featuring renowned diving platforms, alongside a state-of-the-art 100-station gym, café and ancillary amenities.

The venue has also entered into a five-year partnership agreement with Peaty’s AP Race Club, paving the way for a series of forthcoming swimming events. Among these, the highly anticipated AP Race London International returns to the venue from 25 to 27 May this year, after a successful first event in 2023.

Plans for the building include the introduction of a new group exercise studio, a purpose-built spin studio, and an extensive refurbishment of the food and beverage services, all coming soon.

Everyone Active’s Regional Director, Duncan Jefford, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have Adam and Maisie join us as we embark on this exciting new chapter operating the world-class London Aquatics Centre.”
