Various events will be hosted at London Aquatics Centre in the coming weeks. Due to this, there will be disruptions to centre operations on the below dates:

Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd November
Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th November
Friday 29th November
Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th December

On the above dates the competition pool and competition changing rooms will be closed. The diving pool, training pool and training pool changing rooms will be open as normal with swimming lessons, diving lessons and lane swim going ahead as usual.

Friday 15th to Monday 18th November

On the above dates the diving pool will be closed. The training pool and training pool changing rooms will be open as normal with swimming lessons and lane swim going ahead as usual. Lane swimming and swimming lessons will also be available in the competition pool.

For all of the above dates the car park will be busier than usual and the gym will operate as normal. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Looking for a day of fantastic family fun on the water? Then look no further than Family Swim with Inflatable – our inflatable obstacle course that’s laid out on the iconic Olympic pool here at London Aquatic Centre.

Perfect for adults and kids (aged 8+) alike who are competent swimmers, Family Swim with Inflatable is a fantastic family day out. There are challenging obstacles, slides, climbing walls and all manner of other fun things to take on, as well as plenty of pool space for the whole family to enjoy!

Session Availability & Tickets

Family Swim with Inflatable runs regularly at the weekend and during school holidays. When available, the sessions will be bookable online for the following time slots:

  • 11:00-12:00
  • 12.30-13.30
  • 14:00-15:00

  • Adult – £11.00
  • Junior – £8.00

London Aquatic Centre specific swim safety rules

  • Those under 16 and any weak swimmers are required to wear a lifejacket.
  • Wristbands must be worn throughout the session.
  • Follow all lifeguard instructions, failure to do so could result in removal from the session.
  • No goggles to be worn during the session.
  • Start only when instructed to do so by the lifeguard.
  • No queuing is permitted in the pool.
  • You can only move forwards on the inflatable, no going backwards.
  • Only one person is allowed to go down the slide at a time.
  • Go down the slide feet first only.
  • Swim forwards once at the bottom of the slide.
  • Don’t swim in front of the slides when exiting.
  • If you fall off the inflatable, swim down to the far end exit. No climbing back on to it.
  • No diving off the inflatable.
  • No swimming underneath the inflatable.
  • Jump feet first only.
  • No bouncing or pushing others on the inflatable.
  • Be aware of younger participants.
