Not unsurprisingly, swimming is what we do best here at London Aquatics Centre. With three astonishing pools – the 50m competition pool and training pool, as well as the diving pool, there really is something for everyone. Whether you prefer swimming for fun, leisure, exercise, or you’re learning to swim with us, we’ve got a huge range of flexible swimming sessions for everybody.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons are at the core of everything we do here at Everyone Active and they represent one of the most important services we offer to our members. Not only is swimming great fun and a brilliant way to get active, but it’s also a skill that could well save your life one day.

We offer lessons for swimmers of all ages and abilities, with children’s classes beginning from four months old. All our teachers hold Swim England or equivalent qualifications and our lessons allow students to work towards attaining badges and certificates to highlight their progress.

Learning to swim is a key life skill for any child. Swimming lessons teach them independence, allows them to get active while enjoying themselves, gives them the ability to get themselves out of potentially life-threatening situations and enables them to fully enjoy trips to the seaside and beach holidays.

We offer a total of 11 stages of swimming lessons for children aged from just four months old. They’re available at all 96+ of our sites that have a pool, while all our teachers are Swim England (or equivalent) qualified and, of course, DBS checked and the lessons all adhere to Swim England’s Learn to Swim framework.

Our adult swimming lessons cater for all abilities. From complete beginners, all the way to people who are confident in the water but want to improve their stroke technique, stamina and overall ability. We also offer lessons in additional skills, including diving, water safety and distance swimming.
