Please be aware that access to London Aquatics Centre will be via Rothbury Road into Carpenters Road on Sunday 2nd November between 11:00-19:00.
From the 20th October to 16th November, Pool Street will be closed due to ongoing works organised around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The following two bus stops – BP5843 & BP5842 will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the works.
Please be advised that there will be several events taking place at the London Aquatics Centre during November.
Because of this, the Competition Pool and Competition Changing Rooms will be closed on the following dates:
- Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd November
- Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th November
- Saturday 22nd November
- Friday 28th November and until 3:00 PM on Saturday 29th November
All other facilities will be open as usual, and all swimming and diving lessons will continue as scheduled.
Please note that our car park will be significantly busier than usual during these times. We appreciate your patience and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Aquatics GB Fanzone
In an exciting new development, the legendary London Aquatics Centre has been designated as the official Aquatics GB Fanzone for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games!
When is it on?
Beginning on Monday 29th July, we will be hosting viewing parties until Friday 2nd August and then again on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th August, with viewing sessions later in the day coinciding with when the events are taking place in Paris.
So come down and cheer on the GB swimmers as they go for glory in the pool!

Meanwhile, during the day – and inspired by your Aquatics GB heroes – you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy activities in the very pool in which so many glorious memories were made at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
These activities include:
- Diving taster sessions
- Community family swim sessions
- Water polo taster sessions

Entry to the viewing and activities is complimentary for schools and community groups! Subject to availability.
